La Tavola Executive Chef - Alan Chandonia
With 18+ years in the restaurant industry, Chef Alan brings a desire to learn, eat, cook and mentor his hospitality team to the table as Executive Chef at La Tavola Trattoria.
An Atlanta native, he built strong bonds in the kitchen growing up: Learning from his father & grandfather and feeding his little brother taught Alan the reward in cooking for others, kicking off his culinary career as a dishwasher at 15.
From developing his sense of pride in making good food at Atlanta’s oldest Mellow Mushroom to positions at Fifth Group favorites Ecco Midtown & Lure, Alan’s experience helps him execute elegant and innovative dishes at La Tavola made with peak season produce and a sense of purpose forged from growing with his culinary team.
When he’s not at La Tavola, you can find him on his bicycle or curled up with a cup of coffee and a good book.
